PCB support

Hi everyone ^^
just a little question about PCB supportโฆ
i'm at the end of a project, but i'm a little stuck on the fixation part of the boardโฆ
in the first version, i have just putt two hole with pretty random diameter, but for the actual version (i hope final version), i want to chose the most smaller diameter, but with possibility of attachement in a plastic box
so two questions :
-what kind of fixation do you usually use, and where can i find them?
-what diameter could i use on the pcb for the fixation? (2mm start to be tricky for routing with just two hole on the board, 4mm wasโฆ maybe not impossible, but really close to that!)Thanks

Fixing a board in a box ... it depends, bit I try to use 2mm holes because if have small screws of that diameter.
I have also used double sided 3m tape which sticks quite well to a pcb and a plastic housing. No holes needed then.

well, 2mm works fine (no routing pb), but i keep in mind the double sided tape idea
Thanks for the tips ^^

Hot glue fixates almost everything, including pcb's.
Or like eevblog calls it - hot-snot

like guys said
on my side now I try to use holes for M3 screws, but M2 is nice too

Thanks for answers
i think i should find some m2 motherboard spacers and screws in the bottom of a cardboard box, and if i need a box, double sided tape or hot glue ^^

There are standards for PCB hole sizes. You can find Eagle parts for M2, M2.5, M3 drill holes with tight and loose clearance in my Eagle parts library. I created the parts from this blog page.
