      I just now posted the files for Version 3, which allows for an 0805 cap across the Ra-01's 3v3 and GND pads. I just now sent Version 3 to the PCB fabricator.

        Project completed. It works.

        It runs the RadioHead RH95 library and examples without any need for modification. :)

          Nice work! Any chance you can post some code samples to interact with MySensors gateway?

            @miljume

            Not anytime soon. Probably better if someone else did.

              Out of curiousity: Why did you use a through-hole AVR and not a SMD one?

              Orange Pi Plus 2e connected to nrf24 PA via SPI running git-development MySensors gateway, OpenHAB2, mosquitto and MySQL persistence.

                Easier/faster to solder.

                  I understand but tend to disagree ;)

                    any ideal value for the radio decoupling cap? It is the only thing I don't see listed.

                      I'm not sure that it's even needed. I added pads for it in case it might later prove necessary or beneficial, but for now it's optional (unless/until proven otherwise).

                              Starting with MySensors Release 2.1.1, it appears this module is now supported by MySensors:
                              "New transport layer: RFM95 (LoRa mode)"
