@DeepCore not wrong frequency no. But it looks like the feather doesn’t come with the antenna pre-soldered. Since the devices should be identical otherwise, the antenna could be what differs. But if it was, the rssi would probably have been different as well.

Hi there! Reading the Watermark sensor is no easy task indeed. Took us a while to get accurate and reliable data out of these sensors. First of all, take a look at the official documentation provided by Irrometer: https://www.irrometer.com/200ss.html Especially the pseudo-AC excitation is very important and make sure you calibrate the readings using the soil temperature. There's quite some off-the-shelf hardware on the market already. Look for a device that has a low power consumption so you can measure throughout the year, for example: https://www.crodeon.com/blogs/news/connecting-a-watermark-sensor-to-the-cloud Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hey guys aside from these power-consumption issues, I am now running the Feather as gateway and node. And I get a strange problem. The gateway is attached to a raspberry pi via usb (by-id), which runs fhem. And everything works great for about an hour to 1 1/2. Then somehow the gateway stops receiving/communicating. I already tried an active USB-Hub incase the power consumption was too high for too long. But that didn't help. I have to reset the gateway and node to make it work again. Did anybody else ever experience similar behaviour?

How are you going on the Trinkets? Does the v1.5 still work on these?
