Panasonic PIR sensor

Hi,
I bought a Panasonic PIR sensor hoping that they would be a reliable alternative to SR501. However, i am facing trouble understanding the pinout of the panasonic sensors. The Datasheet has not been very helpful.

From the datasheet, this is the pin out.

And my understanding is that this is the pin out.

The senor is however not responding. i have been confused about the pin out and might have fried the sensor already. Please guide of my understanding of the pi out is accurate.

You can't just take the output from the sensor, a circuit is needed to amplify the signal. Is that circuit also in the sensor?

This is an "in can" sensor, everything is included and it has a digital output.

@vj_v1 assuming the Panasonic pinout is taken from the bottom, I would say you swapped out and vcc
