RS-485 MODULE

Good afternoon,

I have assembled a sensor and an actuator on rs485. The devices work well. But I would like to find a way to pair devices with rs485 without flashing and without a gateway. To do this, the devices have a button to enable training mode. In this mode, the sensor should send a request, and the actuator should respond. the Received data is stored in the sensor's EEPROM. Tell me if there is such functionality?

Yes, you make your "actuator" (or some other node) into a "gateway." Otherwise you are re-inventing the wheel from scratch and then why even use MySensors?

So, I suppose you are perfectly capable of "reinventing the wheel" , however, I cannot help but wonder...
