Re: Irrigation Controller (up to 16 valves with Shift Registers)

Hi All! First post, long time creeper! I recently built the irrigation controller and paired it with my Openhab instance. It's working great!

I used the MQTT gateway and binding.

My question is, I get notices like the below on my MQTT broker every few minutes scrolling thru the different nodes on the gateway.

I am thinking it is looking for the status of the VAR's but not sure why it's sending this out so frequently. I don't have anything programmed in openhab to respond and don't know if I need to or not? It's working great as is just wondering if I am missing something by not having openhab respond to these requests:

    Thanks for any advice!!

Any thoughts on this? I still haven't been able to figure out if I am doing something wrong or if it's normal to have this much activity over MQTT

      Thanks!
