    Hi!
I'm one of the author of this post about using an Arduino and Raspberry to switch lights.
We've had in mind almost the same project (unbelievable!!). Since we do not have time to drive it by our own, we would like to contribute to your awesome project.
We are two guys from Italy, Edoardo(working to be engineer) and Lorenzo (engineer). My (Edoardo) skills are more on UX and UI, with a passion and competence on HTML5,CSS3 and javascript (server and client side). Lorenzo's skills are more on Java coding and software engineering.
Do you think you need our help?

      Hi @edoardoo

I actually stumbled on your post a couple of weeks ago! Great writeup!

We certainly need contributors. We need help with everything from the visualisation of sensordata in the frontend (considering using d3.js) to mqtt/node.js backend for receiving and processing sensor data.

Please contact me or Johan for further discussions.
