Loosing my mind sensor not talking to esp gw latest 2.2.0 beta
-
Hey Guys
Best wishes for 2017
I think I am loosing my mind or I am overlooking something
I have saveral esp12 devices one is a nodemcu 1.0
wired everthing according to the sp8266 gateway pageits sees the radio but i will not comunicate to the sensor node
the sensor node is a arduino nano running the dallas temp sensor sketch
both the esp side as the nano side have a cap directtly solder to the nrf
but the sensor side will never see the gwGw debug info

Quite likely. You bought some modules with a blob instead of an IC, and these are notorious for connection issues.
I wouldn't waste any more time on these modules.

yea I thought so to pretty sure that's the issue
already got some new ones on the way

@Yveaux what is a blob?
-
@mpp a drop of black resin, deposited on the semiconductor. It has no sharp edges, nor text on it.
-
@Yveaux thanks for you response. I don't this this is the cause though, I have tested these transceivers and they're running perfectly with the Moteino code.
@ledfreak3d, did you manage to get it fixed?
