Do we have any option to enable queue in Gateway node?

I have connected my gateway in GSM/GPRS(2G), It is slow internet, taking some time to transfer the data to the controller.
Big network(internet) latency.

I see some losses, Do we have any option to enable a queue in Gateway node? So node messages will be in the queue and send all the messages to the controller.

@jkandasa the gateway is stateless, it has no concept of queue.

@nca78 about my gateways: an old gateway running on MySensors 1.5 for years now. There are several nodes and sensors connected through it like temperature sensors, relays, switches. It controls my heating system with heat pump, buffering, 18 circles of floor heating, garden irrigation, alarm system, and some lights just for fun. the new gateway is a gateway to a Bluetooth network. Since MySensors has a great serial API and I have some experience with it I preferred to use it without a radio. I also think that it will be an interesting way of development and it could help to make MySensors even more popular. I had an idea to fork the library but unfortunately I don't have the experience and time to make it in good quality. But I'm sure letting developers to build connectors to different protocols is a very good idea. Catching Bluetooth messages from the air and decode them (with some reverse engineering) to send it through the MySensors gateway is relatively simple compared to the bidirectional communications. Processing some simple sensor data is a good first step.

As promised, what I found so far: the following dockerfile yeilds a usable cross-compile environment, provided you use it with a Makefile. FROM ubuntu:xenial RUN apt-get update \ && apt-get install --yes \ vim \ build-essential \ git RUN git clone https://github.com/raspberrypi/tools RUN git clone https://gist.github.com/3873805.git /build WORKDIR "/build" CMD ["/usr/bin/make", "CC=/tools/arm-bcm2708/gcc-linaro-arm-linux-gnueabihf-raspbian-x64/bin/arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc" , "HelloWorld"] # Seems I need a real makefile for the above to work. Okay, finally got the original nrf24l01 SMD modules with the square chip visible... As exptected, things work just fine now, so the culprit of my issues was really the incompatible/fake "nrf24l01" SMD modules with the epoxy blob. If you want to use normal nrf24l01+ modules together with this smd gateway, DO NOT USE the smd module with the epoxy blob, as they won't work. Using only the fake SMD modules might work, too, but mixing the fake modules with real ones does not work.

Hi @berkseo. Thanks for the suggestion, but could you describe in more detail? As for my TODO list, there is already a task to add 485 interface to the gateway. My latest device "xRoom" have this interface. ps/ Where have you gone? I have been working on "xRoom" shield. A small announce: Do you remember the discussion about multinode? So, it will be available soon))
