Strenght measurements during exercises

  • Hey Guys,

I’m surching an good sensor to measure the Force somebody makes during an exercise. It’s for scientific purposes, the forces will be between 0 and 2500N.
Any of you’ve a good idee wich sensor type I’ve to use and maybe a link to the right sensor?

    Thnx for the help.

    Grts

@bartseger search for load cells (used in scales) or possibly strain gauges.

  • Look up isokinetic physical therapy machines.
They use stain gauges or load cells depending on the foce you want to measure. Expensive, but if you are studying strength of a joint through a range of motion, it might be what you want. Might be able to use one at a PT or university sports dept.
