  • Blockley in Domoticz-not working correctly. Anyone know how to fix.... ?

In Domoticz under "Events" I was building a timer for the lights to come on at dusk/sunset and off at sunrise, but the darn thing won't pay attention to the time on pi. Not sure why. I've set the correct time on the pi and made sure it's set to the correct region. Is there any trick to getting this to work? Does anyone have examples of something they've got to work?
I just setup a test to have a light come on in two minutes. Nothing happened, so something is not right. This is what I had setup:
    If time = 15:20
Do - set Black box = ON

Black box of course being the light. I can turn it on and off manually using the dashboard just fine. Just not timer. Any help would be appreciated.

I hired someone a couple of years ago who wrote some code for my home automation project. It was custom code C++. My requirements were pretty basic, have my beam sensor installed on the driveway to trigger an Arduino board/pro mini and send that via Lora 433 transmitter to a receiver (same board and Lora) connected to Domoticz on my pi4. I set Domoticz up to send an alert to my phone or browser. Initially it worked, but now it doesn't. The person I hired was more of a tinkerer than an expert.
So, I would like to hire someone to redo this setup using the mysensors protocol and make some modifications to the program to do more things. Here are just a few additions:

    • Have multiple nodes with one way communication sending temp/humidity and maybe one trigger notification. Small board, simple programming
    • Node with two way communication so I can receive a notification a car pulled up to the gate, and the ability to open the gate using domoticz.

I have more details I can add, but for now just reaching out to the community here to see if anyone could help with the programming, setting up the diagrams for the boards (I can solder and assemble most stuff) and hopefully be familiar with Domoticz.

Thanks! and look forward to hearing from someone!

Thanks for the response. This is my first time posting to the site, so trying to figuring out how it works and trying to keep it concise.

What is the best way to upload the code?? I tried uploading file, but it only wants to see gifs, jpegs etc?
Do I just copy it in the post?
What pictures would you like to see? The driveway? the equipment?

I have a cool project I hired someone to do about a year ago, but it never worked entirely. need some help with the programming.
Project: Driveway alert system, looooong driveway.
I have 4 sensor beams shooting across the driveway and they are spaced about 100' apart from each other. Each can provide a NO or NC contact. I have conduit running between all 4 points and was planning to run Ethernet wire between them so all 4 points can come in contact with ONE board, 4 pins on the Moteino board. The board has a LORA radio on it and is transmitting to my Arduino receiver, which is tied to a pi running Domoticz. I hired someone a year ago to build a system for me using 4 transmitters (one for each sensor), but I don't think he knew what he was doing. We got several running temperature/humidity data but, the input pins don’t work like they’re supposed to.
Why 4 sensors on the driveway? Eventually I’ll install my railroad signals and be able to direct one way traffic up and down the driveway! How cool is that!
Help anyone? Happy to compensate for your efforts!```
