      I think it depends on the quality of the drawing and other factors. I wouldn't discount the idea. AGiC also offers ink jet cartridges to print higher quality traces.

      You are using standard cat 5/6 for the power run? Can't wait for the "How to video". Looking forward to replacing
      all those 'wall warts'. What fuse rating do you use? Dose it vary, or do you use a standard to protect against short circuit?

      I'm wanting to do this but think there should be more to it than this, such as various protections.

      Soft fail-over to my solar setup would be nice too.

      Does the light switch need to be a SPST or can you use a pushbutton? Curious how this would work with a SPST switch. I haven't looked at the code to see what is setup.

      I am very interested in this as well. I would like to charge an 18650 or 18350 to power remote sensors. Having the radio sleep untill needed would be a nice touch to conserve the battery as well.

      I'm going to gut the control switches in an old ceiling fan to allow arduino control of speed and dimming the light. Anyone done this?

      The issue might be a 4 position relay or some other solution.

      Thanks for the info. I may get this for use in the "lab" and see what you are doing with the computer power supply when you do the video. I believe many of us would like to have a 12v/5v power distribution system in the house.

      Another way to go is to use something like this and just convert everything to 12/24v dc. You can upgrade your lighting as you go and much easier and safer than AC dimming. If coarse there is still the ceiling fan to deal with. I will probably do that with an IR blaster.

      Any thoughts on this board? Looks interesting particularly the control of a large motor. It might make a good lamp or ceiling fan controller.
