    Cannot automatic discover thing node

    I'm not using the mysensors binding in openhab, i followed this https://www.smarthomeblog.net/diy-home-automation-sensors/ excellent tutorial and everything is working.

    I didnt realise, that the warning was in the openhab log. Have you tried to define the node id in the sketch and add the sensor manually in openhab via a .thing and .item file like here described?

    The way you want to mount the sensor could cause, that the sensor doesnt realise that the window is tilted. Because if you tilt the window, the magnet is still in front of the sensor.

    I always put my window sensors beside the window in the upper corner of the window. So the reed is open when the window is tilted or completely opened. And therefore my reed switches are on the side of the sensor.

    Sorry for my bad english, I hope you understand what I mean...

    Honeywell SM353LT

    Really a very nice, well planned sensor. Respect! I really like the Attiny variant!

    But at least in my country some of the components are really hard to get (U2, C1 - C4). Sure mouser is delivering worldwide, but the shipping costs are pretty high.

    You placed the hall sensor in the middle of the board.To be honest I dont have much expirience with hall sensors (I'm using reed switches). The ideal allignment for the sm353lt is in the same plane as the magnet. How are you going to place the pcb and magnet at a window or door?

    Try to add

    #define MY_NODE_ID 2

    (or another node number) in your dallas temperature sketch BEFORE including the mysensors library

    You dont need a esp or arduino as gateway. You can use the RPi as gateway

    Hi!
    I have the same problem as terxw. allpcb.com is missing the "NC drill date". Unfortunately I am not able to create this on my own. Can anybody upload this file?
    Thanks
