Hi I just have build this GW. and it is working. But as you can see in the screenshots, I get really strange readings from my sensors. The serial connected GW is working good.

the first screenshot, strange temperature. no idea from where this is coming. second screen shot also strange temperature, and a battery reading.....

I know from which sensors this is coming since the serial GW is also logging them. and these values are simply wrong. any idea what I should change?

      thanks

    • RE: Issues dallas sensor and sketch

      Hi

With a new one,not soldered, but attached to teh clamps, it is working. This gives two posible exolanations:

      • the dalls sensor breaks easilly when soldered, can not have high temps.
      • I had a very bad packages . 3 from 10 pieces working.

    • Issues dallas sensor and sketch

      Hi

I have made multiple senors using the sketechs and fantastic site. I only have issues with the Dallas tempertatue sensors to get them working.

I attached 2 dallas sensors to an arduino pro mini 3.3 v. I used the sketch that is provided on the site.
prblem that it works sometimes for 1 sensors, some times 2. So I replaced both sesnors, and now I cant get an reading at al.

Thru the serial monitor I see most of the times 1 sensors, it alsoshows up in domoticz, but is not reporting. So it seems very intermittenmd working.

Can it be the pullup resistor? I use the 3.3 v from the arduino itself.

      thanks for helping

    • RE: 💬 Easy/Newbie PCB for MySensors

      Hi

I also bought v8 of these boards. 2 sensors up an running perfect.

2 others modules on the other hand, I think I fried the arduino. I am using 5v mini's. They worked when programming thru the USB port. Also communication with domoticz. They stopped working when I attached the 6v external adapter. I connected these to the ground and power connector. Now lights go on, but nothing anymore also not on the serial monitor.

Should I have used the raw connector????

      thanks for helping

    • Oil burner

      Hi

great stuff. I am fairly new with Mysensors, but I already build a couple of sensors, temp+hum and temp+hum+mot. All as described on this great site. I am using a raspberry pi domoticz controller,

But now I wanted to measure how many times our oil burner turns on per day. The oil burner is for the central heating in house. The burner has a big blinking light when it turns on, so I was thing to use the Pulse light sketch, but that outputs kWh to domoticz.

Is there anybody that already did this or can put me on the right track?

      thanks
