    Two weeks ago I build my first sensor and USB gateway. Connected the gateway to Domoticz. No node pops up. Before starting a post in the Domoticz forum: can someone assure me that the problem is not in the Sensor or Gateway?

    The Gateway:

    The Motion Sensor:

    I like this Mysensor thing a lot, but get frustrated it doesn't work :)

        @Lecram71

        Communication looks ok. The node asks for id from controller.

          I noticed that the Gateway did not send a node number to the sensor. So I now use a predefined ID. It seems it works perfect on the Mysensor side. But still no node in the Domoticz. I guess I post a message in their forum.

          @Billy123: the nRF is connected to the 3.3v of the Arduino Uno. Is a Cap needed?

          @hek: tx!

            @Lecram71 Did you enable the sensor recognition in Domoticz? set-up -> settings :

              @Lecram71 I always add a cap to the Vcc, just to make sure. Never failed for me.

                Hi AWI,

                thanks for reaction. I did, but nothing happens.

                Today I installed Domoticz on my Windows machine. Everything works perfect in Windows. Gateway and motion sensor are recognized.

                So I guess its a communication problem in my Synology NAS.

                  @Lecram71 That makes things clear. There seem to be many issues on Synology USB interfaces. But at least you know where to look now.. You can better address it in the Domoticz forum.
