    i didn't think so at first. but it could be. Is there a way for me to merge? or should I delete the post with less info?

      I have changed the capacitor values. Removed all my serial.println just in case that was causing problems.

        @Jason-Brunk Did you try to replace the radio's? One of them might be broken.

          Yes. I have an extra and have tried swapping out in various combinations. I have tried with and without capacitors.

            @Jason-Brunk I'm having a hard time trying to understand your test sketch.

            Especially this piece. If I'm not mistaken you go to sleep for an hour or until one of the interrupt pins goes low.

            I'm however not sure what the sleep method returns.

            int whichbutton;
            whichbutton = sleep(digitalPinToInterrupt(2),LOW,digitalPinToInterrupt(3),LOW,3600000);//86400000);

            Could you try a basic sketch and see if that runs? That'll eliminate hardware problems.

              From what I read it's supposed to return which pin goes low. but yes, I can try a basic sketch. Let me find one.

                  @Jason-Brunk No I'm sorry. It looks like a communication thing. Maybe @tekka can help with this

                    Just so I can try to understand. The st=fail on the sensor node indicates that it wasn't able to send via the radio right? Not that the other end couldn't receive it? Just wondering which end point I should be focusing on :)

                      @Jason-Brunk st=fail indicates, that the RF module did not receive an ACK from the destination node, i.e. the message was sent but not received.

                        I saw in this post https://forum.mysensors.org/topic/4430/solved-does-not-work-after-latest-update/5 you mentioned that 2.0 may have some slightly higher power requirements. What size cap is recommended now?

                          @Jason-Brunk I'm using 100uF caps, but 22uF seemed ok in this case.
