Managed to get my secret knock sensor working tonight! A YouTube clip demonstrating sensor has been posted below.

With this you can control a Relay or Solenoid Lock from your controller or by using your very own secret knock sequence detected by a sound sensor.

You can even record a new knock sequence by attaching a button on the arduino which enables record mode (stores sequece to eeprom).

The latest version can be found here:
    https://github.com/mysensors/Arduino/tree/development/libraries/MySensors/examples/SecretKnockSensor

    https://codebender.cc/example/MySensor/SecretKnockSensor

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGHtju7iJ4Q

Much of the MySensors adopted secret knock code comes from this tutorial:
    https://learn.adafruit.com/secret-knock-activated-drawer-lock/overview

                Nice hek!
I'we always had in mind to make a "Clapper" switch but I guess this could be used for that purpose also, I'll give it a try.

Very nice addition to the sensor collection. Congratulations.
Have you tried to use a piezo sensor instead of a mic?

                  Something like this:

                    @ferpando

No couldn't find any around the house. But it should probably work. You might need to us analog input to tune it.

                          Q. What's small, furry and bright purple?

                          Q. What do you call a boomerang that doesn't come back?

                          Q. Why did the emu cross the road?

                          Q. Why did the dingo cross the road twice?
                          A. Because he was a double-crosser!
