        Hmm. .think I need to install this on all the mobiles in the household..

        It could bring an end to "Dad, I can't remember where my phone is, could you please call it?" only to find out that it's on silent mode.. :)

            Perhaps even cooler would be to use MySensors radio beacons with a MySensors tracking device! I then imagine that high resolution could be achieved with low power even if there's no neighbor Wifi router around.

              for a simple beacon, maybe using sort of triangulation based on radio rssi...don't know for the precision but I guess that should be enough to know if presence ?? but that need to have it with you, plus the phone..

                  @fets

                  Tried it briefly the other day, and after some tinkering, it could tell me if I was in the living room, or in the bedroom 80% of the times (they are only 4 meters apart).. This was only after 10 minutes playing with it..

                    It would be cool to be able to do the other way around... have wifi/bluetooth recievers listen and determine when someone was nearby.
                    This could be used without the need for any application installed on your phone. Anyone have any pointers for a system like that?

                    I know we use it in stores for example to measure visitors and how they move within stores/malls.
