I still can't get my cheap ebay NANO to communicate with my VERA. (no serial showing up)

Locally I have a few expensive options but today is Friday and I have a ton of sensors I want to play with this weekend. My local radio shack has a Arduino Micro with USB on it.

Looks to be a different processor so I'm assuming that's a no go.

My other option is a "OSEPP Nano" but since its a clone I'm worried of it having the same problem.

    Whats your guys thoughts?

When I don't get a serial to show up I usually unplug the Nano, tell vera to reload, plug in the nano after reload is finished, and hit reload again and then vera shows the serial. May or may not work for you

I just ended up going to my local Fry's store and spending 35.00 for that "OSEPP Nano". Plugged it in and serial showed right up no problem.

So I can confirm the cheap EBAY (some not all) don't work out of the box like a more expensive one. Atleast foe the controller. I'm sure I'll use the other 4.00 one for a sensor.
