RE: Coronavirus (way, way, off topic)
Don't read to much into what I posted.
Even if you don't believe all the HCQ hype in that article you can easily lookup yourself the health benefits of grapefruit and lemon peel.
That information may provide useful to someone here as it did for me, which is why I wanted to share it.

Homemade HCQ Recipe
For anyone who needs a little extra help. I've found this to work myself. Take at the first sign of symptoms and stop taking once better.

RE: Mesh network
Test was a success. My Dryer sensor is now a repeater as well. I was able to move my motion sensor farther from my dryer and have it work the same.
1 Thing to note is I did have to restart the gateway in order to get the motion sensor to flow through the repeater. Something that could be improved on maybe?

RE: Mesh network
@skywatch I have yet to play around with the repeater functionality but i will be soon since i live in a giant old house.
Most of my nodes are battery powered.
I do have one that isn't so i'll start there. If repeater mode works as intended I should be able to move a battery powered motion sensor I have farther away from that usb powered node. This should be a good test. Don't you think?

RE: Mesh network
This would be cool.
Playing off what @berkseo said... we would just need to give a normal node the repeater functionality or vice versa.
I'd be willing to contribute to this functionality in some way if we can get others onboard.

RE: AM612 PIR can
@waspie I like it when people come back and share their experience. It's helps newbies like myself get direction in our own projects. So thank you

RE: New Attiny1614 /3224 /3226 Support?
@Mr_nanick It appears there is full Arduino support for those via the megaTinyCore.
They also seem to have plenty of flash.
I don't see why it wouldn't work.

RE: Candle - the privacy friendly smart home
Since Candlelight is based on MySensors, it could spark some new comers to this space if Candlelight had it's own topic. I mean, most of the controllers have their own topic. Why not.

RE: button inclusion mode for home assistant?
@Cassio-Lucas I believe that would need to be a feature request in HA for the mysensors integration.

RE: Where did everyone go?
In regards to the "Where did everyone go?"...
Personally when I look at the MySensors github and see Issues and PRs being created but no one is doing anything with them, that's a bit of a turn off.
When I look through the PRs I see a lot of "good stuff" there yet there is no movement.

RE: mysensors regularly disconnect from HA
I've run into the same issue with HA using ethernet. I believe it's an issue with the MySensors HA integration and their reconnect logic.
I've had better luck with Serial and MQTT.

RE: isMetric incorrect on new 2.3.2 serial gateway with HomeAssistant
That was a quick turn-around.

RE: isMetric incorrect on new 2.3.2 serial gateway with HomeAssistant
@Dave-Myers I'm having the same problem and I just recently setup a home-assistant. Also running mysensors 2.3.2
