    • RE: First go at a smallish TH sensor that can be deployed anywhere.

      @Nca78 said in First go at a smallish TH sensor that can be deployed anywhere.:

      At what voltage are you running your sensebender micro ?

      Using 2x AA batteries (3V)
      Current multimeter reading is 2.75V, reading on Vera is 57%.
      Looks like reading on Vera is out.
      I've stuck on a sticker with today's date to see how long sensebender will go on, probably a few years.

    • RE: Clean looking sensor node

      Newbie here.

      I have used battery casing for sensebender & DC DC step up converter (2.5v to 5v).

      Have to do a bit of filing & swapping of battery contacts and drill hole for sensebender.

      Attach photos.

    • RE: How to measure freezing on buds

      Question is, why would you want to "watch and measure the buds" freeze?
      It would be too late to save your crops.

      @Puneit-Thukral

      Sorry can't be of much help.

      I used them for my garage door as limit switches, they tend to break easily and on hot days get false trigger.
      Now using micro switches same thing happens.
      Will try yo insulate the switches next.
