Except adding a little bit more work to maintain changes in version, date, description, adding photos, etc... ;-) So as it is not used I this time , I will remove it. Anyway, It would be really easy to revert the (clean-up) commit, whenever you'd decide to use this suggested (or another similar) standard.

@Heizelmann I'm not sure I understood your concern. Initialization is finished here, right before the main loop is entered: 1512 MCO:BGN:INIT OK,TSP=0 Since your timeout is set to 1sec (which obviously is too short to fully establish the transport link) the node will enter the main loop() after the timeout. However, since the link is not established, only init messages are sent at that point (i.e. library init, signing preferences, presentation). Sensor data will not be sent until the node is registered.

Adding I_BATTERY_VOLTAGE to complement the existing I_BATTERY_LEVEL, along with a convenience function to send the voltage would be a real nice to have!

Is there any progress in this area? I guess this is not the same as smart sleep?

I am actually using the DS2401s to generate IDs within my Mysensor network. I have created two arrays, one with the DS2401 ID, the other with the location (text) of the sensor. (it should be possible to do this in a single array BTW) In this way I can label my Node with the location name at boot, but more important it labels the children with the location. (in addition in my Arduino script I am labeling the Arduino hardware platform as part of the node name) Imagine having a list of 15 DHT22's in Domoticz, it is quite challening to find the right DHT22 for a certain location. (I am using Domoticz) But I acutally should include the Node-ID in my script, in that way I don't need to query it at boot time :)

I was thinking if I created for example a Slim Node project, I should put it in that area. Not only the creator of the PCB that the project is based on. Just to get it simpler to find project based on a specific PCB Or as I said a pinned topic like this Example: Below is sensors based on My Slim 2AA Battery Slim Node found on openhardware.io Slim Node as a Mini 2AA Battery PIR Motion Sensor Slim Node Si7021 sensor example

Hi, I am a smarthings user and have integrated a couple of particle protons into my smarthings setup. Have ordered the parts to start a MySensors network and would also like to integrate these to my smartthings hub. IF anyone has moved this on yet I would love to know and maybe help with getting this working. Thinking of using the proton as a gateway if that's possible.

Hallo, Here I am again. My question is still the same: Can one use an ESP8266 instead of an arduino plus radio? Not via wifi but exactly as when as I use an arduino with some radio. I know, that all the experts until now wrote, as a gateaway: yes. But you need a present WLan then. For a rf24 you need no WLan. Did anybody succeed in programming the ESP8266 in the way, that it behaves like an arduino with rf24 connected? So you could save a lot of time soldering and searching mistakes.

This will be good! Will it be only time? Could the date information be additional?

Remember I searched for something similar a couple of years back but couldn't find any hardware that did the fourier transformation. Would've been nice with some turn key sensor that reported sound pressure in dbA.
