    Hi I wonder if anyone could help I read in the instructions that you should be able to use an Arduino uno and wiznet Shield in order to create a gateway, I've downloaded the ethernet gateway program which uploads fine but will not connect to my network, my network doesn't see it at all, tested all the hardware and all the hardware is working fine can anyone help

      Do you mean it doesn't connect to your wired ethernet network?
      Did you configure the IP address in the sketch to the subnet of your LAN, and can you ping the gateway from another computer?

              I change this line to

              Ethernet.begin(mac);

              my roots issued an IP address
