    Two things :)

    1. Why an extra cap on the radio? (Not using it myself in my micros from itead)
    2. If you place the boards at the end of the battery pack instead of the backside, wouldn't the casing be smaller then? (If I remember correctly, the sensebender is roughly the same dimensions as the end of the battery pack)

    @tbowmo

    Missed one part of your question. The reason I went with the backside; I wanted a "slide in" design for the battery holder.

    I'm not talented enough to create a solution that allowed that with the SBM (Sensebender Micro) on the bottom. :bowtie:

              V2. Case is smaller, and lighter (much thinner walls) and includes mounting tabs (instead of the rear mounting holes). I also added some side ventilation holes.

                v2 looks good.. would you guess at how much each one of those cost you to make?

                    i would say filament cost.
                    more like if you look at how much it cost to print pictures vs have them printed. you don't take the cost of the printer into account.

                    I've been thinking about getting into 3d printing but outside of cases for my sensors i cant think of anything i would print lol
                    so i was just curious, how much it would cost you to print something like that.
                    thanks

                      @mvader Around $1.75 in filament for 1 top and body.

                            here is my first 3D print for the sensbender micro, printed with Arduino Materia 101 printer - STL files available if needed.
                            I think it is also possible to fit a motion sensor in the top - will try ;-)

                                  Maybe I can build something with copper. There is a bit space to fit it in.
