mmmm i think that al this work, for a 4 weeks working sensor is not a good solution for a home automation system....
Why can a Zwave or 433Mhz motion sensor work for more then a year...
      Is my biggest question..
      Forum link

Is there relay now solution for a battery live for a year...
Other bord, other sketch, other regulator, other battery...

      or...

Yes i see your very nice project...
Only i am a amateur and can not [ yet ] build your nice sensor ..[ i wiill try when i have the stuff ]

Only what is making your sensor so great..
      The software or the hardware??
When i use your sketch, is my sensor then working for a longer time?
Because the size is not my problem.. [ i will try to build build a my sensor in a factory motion sensor, that will fit ]

    • Battery drains :-(

      Dear all.
I have built a few sensors, on battery.
Everything works but only for a week or...
I have a nano with just a motion sensor and a sleep time of 15 minutes
      Sketch
      Nano
      With a battery of 3000mAh block @ 5 volts.
      alt text

I have a small pro on 3.3volt @ 2x 1.5 volts with a power up for my motion sensor
      PRO
      Power up
      Sketch
All LEDs and the power regulater removed.
Only a motion sensor, with sketch sleeptime 20 minutes.
Quiet area for a week or
      ...
Why can operate a Zwave or a 433Mhz motion for months / years on 3xAA. And a powerbank and a mysensor less than a month?
      Does anyone have a solution

I think i go wrong... Only where??

      Thanks for all the help!!

Only i do not understand exact the wiring of your example.
Will you please make a list of exact stuff to buy.
And make some more pictures, from the good places..

You have a lot of sketches 🙂
Is het possible that you build a sketch include your pir-battery-ldr, and a light switch, or a option so i can switch a ledlight.
      Like a pir-battery-ldr-switch... 🙂

I will try to rebuild a solarpowerlight
With a solar powerbank, and a:Light

So i can have a Domoticz controlled solarpower light and motion/ldr [my]sensor

The motion can be adapt to run on 3v easily (connect the Vcc to the H pad if available. You can find information on the forum). The DHT could also run on 3v. I have several nodes like that. No problem.

      Hello,

9v means that you are using a voltage regulator which probably consumes a lot of power.
Why not using AA or AAA battery directly connected to Vcc ?

      David

Motion and DHT needed 5volt i wash thinking..?
So 9 @ the vcc should be strong enough i was thinking.
And i do have @ the same time 3.5 for the radio
