Nice work. But I'm sure, it's too risky to use this power supply instead of HLK-PM01 (or other more or less "correct module"). Power supply without creepage barrier is scary. It's industrial standard, even for the cheapest solutions. But omitted suppresion XY capacitor - disaster. It could be the cause of many indeterminate bugs, becouse your device will be helpless before common-mode interference. Also I can recommend using X capacitor (X has less protection requirements than Y) in input of power supply if it doesn't contain it. To put it another way, it's not only the problem with EMI compatibility, it's the problem for your device stability.

@Eawo Domoticz groups sensors after the order you present them in, see: https://forum.mysensors.org/topic/5132/ds18b20-ans-sht31-d-show-up-as-combined-sensors-on-domoticz/15 I send every 5 minutes and check the value before so that I only send if the value has changed I have been running my sensor for nearly 2 months now and battery level has only decreased 1-2% Make sure you use 1 MHz bootloader

@Sven-0 Fun to see this old topic again. And also the coincidence, since my visits here have been rare for a long time. Anyway, I'm running a few slimnodes since the beginning and have both good and bad experiences. In general, the battery lifetime is your least concern. Instead I have had issues with sensors, sensitivity, switch contact corrosion, mechanical robustness, wifi interference, repaeter, gateway, controller, waf, kids, animals, etc, etc. Regarding this particular PIR slimnode it's very stable, but it is not universal for every situation due to the limited range and missing sinsitivity adjustment. E.g I can't use it too near my basement windows due to the moving cold air. And in my living room I have sun reflections to deal with. I suggest you start by building a testnode to check if it works for your conditions. A recent PIR-slimnode battery life example; My hallway one died last week after 33 months and around 6000 trips/month.

Hi, this is an awesome project and after waiting for weeks to get all parts, I finally started building. The problem I am facing is that it seems that I cannot get the board working if I use such a 8-pin connector socket. I am generally OK with NOT using such a socket for sensors that "go into production" but for some sensors where space is not an issue or for boards which I want to use for testing different NRF24s etc, I would like to make the socket work. Does anybody have any tipps on how to make the radio reliably work with a socket? That would be awesome!

@vorowski Thx for the info. It's been down before so I don't mind trying something else anyway. Maybe I can start presenting and logging forecasts from different prividers and then evaluate them

I am interested in what people have tried. For example i am creating an outdoor soil moisture + Light sensor + either temperature only or temp/humidity sensor. I am very concerned how to weatherproof while still getting accurate data. I planned to have the soil moisture sticking out of my enclosure but sealed so that all the connections and electronics are inside the enclosure. The enclosure basically sitting on the soil with the prongs from the sensor in the soil. lThe Light sensor I was hoping to have sealed in the enclosure but with a clear plastic window. I am not sure how to keep this from fogging up. The temp/humidity sensor should be measuring outside air, so it would need to have air flow. However I do not think this sensor could handle being in the rain so it would still need to be protected. I am not really sure how to get good air flow but protect this sensor from being splashed by rain. I would love to hear what other people have done. I will post some pictures if i ever get finished.

I got it from CPC in the UK which are owned by Farnell https://cpc.farnell.com/hammond/1593qgy/case-with-bat-compart-110x66x28mm/dp/EN82140 You may have to make a slight mod to the board or enclosure to make it fit. good luck

I saw the same error once on our staging environment. But I could just log in again. Lets keep an eye on the problem. Please report here if someone sees it again.
