@egfku I'm a bit new at this stuff too so I could be off base, but isn't node ID 255 reserved for broadcast? Try setting the MY_NODE_ID to something between 1 and 254.

You beat me to it, this is totally on my longer term list to accomplish for quail.

The banner shows each time I open the forum. I have also noticed that size of window affects if its shown or not, smaller window does not show it for me.
