@vobi Can you switch your serial driver Auto to jSerialComm on gateway settings? You can configure Cron job on your RPI to trigger mycontroller/bin/start.sh If it is running, nothing to do.

@kluszczyn - I was doing that last night and it wasn't working. However, it has started to work this morning. I have no idea why it wasn't doing it last night (Probably user error, admittedly). I have the issue sorted this morning. Will update the title of this thread now. MODs are welcome to remove the post if needed. I personally use MQTT.fx to monitor my MQTT channels, just in case you ever needed to change for some reason or would like to check out the if it has any features you require.

Testing now and so far the mysensors smartsleep etc is working perfectly. What a great controller, thank you for your hard work. I will maybe switch to this in place of Demotic.

@landpatterson Great! /dev/ttyUSBx is Linux machine id for serial port. In windows it would be like COMx. So you can enter as follows, [image: 1469502463636-upload-a9851556-5fbe-4c66-b365-e83789a78019] Driver: For windows you can select either jssc or jSerialComm. I would recommend you to leave it as Auto. It will select best driver for your OS. We no need to specify a driver until there is a situation. I guess in windows port name should be without space COM5. Retry frequency: When there is a loss in serial port connection between MyController and your gateway, MyController will try to reconnect after this x seconds. here I have mentioned 120 seconds. After successful connection, you can see debug logs on Status >> Resources logs

@gopal_N I know this is outdated response, I am sorry for long delay(I didn't notice this). I do not know still you are using MyController.org. I have updated serial port driver. This particular issue might be resolved in current build.

@jkandasa said: @pebri86 Yes, I will implement smartSleep feature. But it will take bit more time. may be after release. Please raise a ticket for this feature request to follow. https://github.com/mycontroller-org/mycontroller/issues between what type of actions do we(controller) need to do with smartsleep nodes? Actually all action like reboot, erase configuration, or send values to node since all battery node do sleep all the time and can't response while sleep.

Ok, I feel pretty dumb not to have thought of it before, but I've found the issue. For the sake of anyone running in the same issue, if you are running an ad blocker, try to disable it first. Looking at the request in Chromium, it said "ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT" [image: 1457283238246-mycontroler-request-blocked.png] Turning off the ad blocker resulted in a dashboard as you would expect it. Sorry for bothering you for something I should have thought of, and thank you for your support.

@eccle said: Using MySensors I have set up a serial gateway with a NRF24l01 and a distance sensor on a pro mini both are working. I get gateway startup complete on the serial monitor. When I add a gateway in My Controller the status is down. It is Enabled, type is Serial, Network, Type is MySensors, Connection detail is Port:/dev/tty/USB0,Baud rate 115200, Driver Auto. error message unable to open. Do I have to have a specific port Thanks Hi in Linux USB-serial port will be something like /dev/ttyUSB* not /dev/tty/USB0. To know available USB-Serial port use this command ls -lh /dev/ttyUSB*
