Troubleshooting

@fhenryco This appears to be a domoticz problem.. So it will not be solved by using a newer mysensors library.

@jwoods Thanks for the feedback :) problem could be either the atmega or the Si7021 chip on board the micro.. But hard to figure out without access to a scope.. (Btw. you have checked the board for solder bridges etc, right?)

What the f...... hell ! I have found the problem :-). It comes from the 'static' keyword while declaring the Device derivated object in Devices.h ! I'm happy but I don't know why this new compiler forbids this... See you for next adventures ;-)

@Yveaux I'm using the latest 2.1.1 . The retriggering is possible to handle in the code and all seems possible to run on batteries so I am happy.

@sama, I had similar problems, always with relay nodes. The solution that has worked 100% of the time for me is to add a delay(100) as described by @kk02067 at the end of the forum thread of the same name: https://forum.mysensors.org/topic/4987/error-sending-switch-command-check-device-hardware Don't know if this will solve your problem, but worth a try.

@Nicklas-Starkel nice to hear! We are constantly trying to improve the performance in various aspects. I think it is @tekka that deserves the credit for increased rf performance as he has done a tremendous work with the drivers.

if you have defined the mac address and nothing else, it should get IP from DHCP. You could also try with Cayenne Mydevices as I did to figure out that the shield wasn't working as it couldn't get dhcp address nor static IP, so I got another one that is still working right now (it is not difficult to find defective w5100 shields especially in the cheap range)

I'm not using that Static Parent, I left as default so it goes to AUTO in the MyConfig.h but at the moment I'm not using any repeater yet

If I remember well there is a function that returns if you are connected or not and if not you can call the initialization to get connection back

@mfalkvidd Ok thanks for your answer. Glad to hear the setup looks ok (almost :) ) and I'll remove the 12V from the VCC and do some testing with 5v power through USB to start with. Thanks :)

It is called "LaCrosse Gateway" You can find the source code here: https://svn.fhem.de/trac/export/HEAD/trunk/fhem/contrib/arduino/36_LaCrosseGateway.zip I have included this gateway in FHEM and receive a weather station sensor from "Technoline" which is sending on 868MHz.

@LaMB95 the best would be to power the 5V Pro Mini with 5V and the nrf with 3.3V and connect GND from both power sources together.
