Bought nRF24L01+ and nRF905 IC's instead of modules on accident
-
Well, my intelligence is suspect, and my experience is null. I bought nRF24L01+ and nRF905 IC's instead of modules. At least they're probably not fakes. Is there some way I can buy a PCB with everything on it but the IC? Could I buy a cheap module an pop off the IC, and put my IC's on? What should I do? It'd be a bit of a pain to construct the module from scratch.

That will probably work, given that you order a board with a chip on it and not the ones with a blob of resin. The boards I've seen all stick to the Nordic reference design for layout (not sure about the components though).
It will however require quite good solder skills to replace the Nrf chip...

You can put own IC . It will never work unless you don't know what are you doing.

Here a pcb that can help you:

Honestly, on closer inspection, there is no way I will be able to solder it to a board. I'm just gonna buy the modules.
