Had the same Problem! I'm totaly new to MYSENSORs and my gateway runs on an Arduino pro mini 8MHz attatched to a Pi. Funny thing was that the controller is able to send data at 115.2kbaud but can't read at that speed when clocked with 8MHz ( as explained here : http://forum.mysensors.org/topic/1483/trouble-with-115200-baud-on-3-3v-8mhz-arduino-like-serial-gateway-solution-change-baudrate). Solution: Set your baudrate to 57600 end reupload the sketch. Took me quite a while bevor I figured that one out. Hope that helps anyone how encounters the same Problem.

I found this old thread and since I have a Vallox machine it's interesting. RS485 is new to me but MySensors isn't. Can I have a node like this described by Heinz parallel with the "mickey mouse"-display? Using the display's connector? Or is it one or the other? I'd feel better having both (manual display&buttons and connection to MySensors=>Domoticz, in my case).

@Heinz No need to write the code for me, I've done most of the work already but the only problems I have now is that with the sketch from this thread I can't control the 3 switches I have and the two temperature sensors are not detected by the Vera interface (I guess they aren't initialized correctly ?). I would appreciate if you could take a look at it.

Not much MySenors in your setup. You might wanna try the FHEM forum.
