d-diot Gas sensors and RGB lamp

Hi,

today I have finished the wiki page of this node that is part of the d-diot project.

It is a gas sensor (MQ2) based on Arduino Nano and nrf24 radio module with a Neopixel RGB lamp, all in a 3d printable case.

This how it looks:

If someone is interested in the wiki page are reported all the details for the construction, including firmware, case design files and Kicad project of the GP pcb nano board.

We are of like minds, Don't like the cloud based controls (that's another discussion). In my case I have a Bryant/Connex system, heat pump, variable speed fan and 4 zones. There's a lot going on: the 4 zones creates 16 profiles. The fan speed for a profile will depend on the indoor and outdoor temperature. The thermal fluid pump also has to be controlled. A profile will have an optimal air pressure, so there's a sensor there. The controller works just fine not being connected to the cloud. But I want to set the parameters remotely, Bryant/Connex can do this. I also wnat the status of the various actuators and sensors to show up in Home Assistant. The signals sent over the RS422 are proprietary. My plan was to reverse-engineer the signals. After doing this I'll have to experiment to get the right mix of air pressue, fan speed and thermal fluid flow for each profile. I'd like to do the same for my AO Smith heat pump water heater. I'd like to follow your progress. OSD

@GLAB Uno-Nrf comms are ok, your node woulnd't get to sending radio packest if radio chip comms weren't ok. Instead of reflashing working node and gateway try backdating MySensors library in arduino. You should see what version is used in working gateway somewhere in your contrloller, or by connecing yor serial gateway directly to your PC. in case of ethernet/wifi gateway you can alco use MySController from here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/prn9p2cnheyteopokszor/MYSController.zip?rlkey=up54kg4lt2blmff66t2jlgeo6&e=1 if your working node/gateway in on 2.00 and your new node works with that, then you can update them all with minimal risk of borking it all.
