Lets Talk Wire..

Ok, I have been looking and looking for flexible 22/4 - 32/6 stranded cable, and for the life of me, I can't seem to find any that is remotely reasonable in costs..
Anyone have a good source for flexible multi-conductor wire?
-
Hey @ServiceXp Look at alarm suppliers....they use km's ( or miles) of the stuff....
-
@gregl I've checked out some varieties out at a local supplier and unfortunately the stuff is just too stiff, even then unshielded flavor..
I'm looking for something that is very flexible...... like a typical USB cable.

Hi,
For stiffness, are you looking at the Stranded wire?
Solid wire will be stiffer but Stranded wires are the ones that are flexible.Also, if the wires can be twisted, the cheapest would be CAT5 Stranded wiring...
24 AWG stranded copper conductor
Just don't buy the cheaper "Copper Coated Aluminum**
500 Ft for $100., vs the ones in the ebay link above which are around $/ft.

@meanpenugin
Thanks. Definitely stranded, but even the options that's I've put my hands on aren't as flexible as a standard USB cable. I think the difference is in the jacket material. I've order, what I hope will work from MCM, so I shall see.I would have never guessed that finding nice flexible 4 conductor ~22 gauge wire would be such an issue.
