@sundberg84 Thank you so much for the advice, I knew that it would come down to small things here and there, and it's so much easier to tinker around in eagle than try to order a board, find the errors and fix/reorder over and over, so I appreciate it very much! Time to get back in and make some changes :)

Try with some batteries first, than you could try with a capacitor with a decent capacitance

With those additional components that are required I don't think it's that compact anymore.

@Chester one is enough. They are connected to each other on the pcb. You can verify this by putting a multimeter in continuity mode or resistance mode and measure the resistance between the two ground pads. The resistance should be zero.

@Chester - I would connect my nodes to the serial monitor and watch what happens. Do you recieve the info in your gw but not to the controller? Also check out: https://forum.mysensors.org/topic/666/debug-faq-and-how-ask-for-help
