Newbie help DHT22 on battery need sketch.

Hello
Im kinda new to this mysensor ive done a few noods with step by step guides.
1 mars i will move to a house. And i need to know the humidity under the house couse its to high.
I need some help figuring out a sketch that will run on this. I dont need to update humidity more then every 20 min.
I dont know any coding but i want to learn. So if anyone could give me a good tip how to startout i would be greatful.Im going to remove the led an i wonder if i can remove the regulator to? couse i heard the dht22 need 3.3v "actually its a Am2303".

Just increase sleep time in this one:

Can i remove the regulator for better battery life or should i keep it?
Is it possible to add so i can see my battery status?
-
Hi!
Am2303 can run on 3.3 to 6v according to datasheet, so yes remove the regulator.
But if you are using a 3.3v arduino (which is best for battery) i would use a booster or the DHT will stop working pretty soon.

You'll have to read the datasheet of the hum sensor. Measuring battery voltage is described on the main site.
Edit. darn @sundberg84 was fast!

ok im soon finished with it i guess i should order some link text
but for now i just want to try it out :). Thanks for the help
