      The network connection works just like a serial (but over ip). So you can test it by using a command like netcat. # TCP netcat <gw ip> <port> # UDP netcat -u <gw ip> <port>

      @pjr V_HVAC_SETPOINT_HEAT comes closest to what I need but is still related to the sensor/actuator variable that is being controlled. I also need to send parameters that are totally unrelated to any of the sensor/actuator variables. This could f.i. be the cycle time of the measurements, whether or not sleep mode is used, ... I launched a feature request in meantime.

      @Spanners what hek means, the channel ID is set compile time. So before uploading to your node. So putting it in before() is currently not an option. What you can do is putting the RF_BASE_RADIO_ID define in a separated include file (.h) and include this file before the other defines in all the sketches. So you only have to update the ID once for all your sketches.

      @stefaanv Hallo, have the same problem. I cannot see my node in IO-Broker. Read all the threads in this forum and in IObroker. Same issue with inclusion mode. Don`t know, what else I can do. I use the original Ethernet-Gateaway-Sketch from MySensors page, the original Temp-hum-sketch from MYsensors page and installed sometimes MYsensors-adapter in IOBroker. I use the gateway as TCP-client. What can I do? Here the seriell protocol: ;255;3;0;9;Starting gateway (RNNGA-, 2.0.0) 0;255;3;0;9;TSM:INIT 0;255;3;0;9;TSM:RADIO:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSM:GW MODE 0;255;3;0;9;TSM:READY IP: 192.168.178.56 0;255;3;0;9;No registration required 0;255;3;0;9;Init complete, id=0, parent=0, distance=0, registration=1 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:SANCHK:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:SANCHK:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:SANCHK:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:SANCHK:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:SANCHK:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:SANCHK:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:SANCHK:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:SANCHK:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-255 s=255,c=3,t=7,pt=0,l=0,sg=0: 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:BC 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:FPAR REQ (sender=1) 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:CHKUPL:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:GWL OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:SEND 0-0-1-1 s=255,c=3,t=8,pt=1,l=1,sg=0,ft=0,st=ok:0 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=255,c=3,t=24,pt=1,l=1,sg=0:1 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:PINGED (ID=1, hops=1) 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:SEND 0-0-1-1 s=255,c=3,t=25,pt=1,l=1,sg=0,ft=0,st=ok:1 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=255,c=3,t=15,pt=6,l=2,sg=0:0100 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:SEND 0-0-1-1 s=255,c=3,t=15,pt=6,l=2,sg=0,ft=0,st=ok:0100 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=255,c=0,t=17,pt=0,l=5,sg=0:2.0.0 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=255,c=3,t=6,pt=1,l=1,sg=0:0 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=255,c=3,t=11,pt=0,l=22,sg=0:TemperatureAndHumidity 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=255,c=3,t=12,pt=0,l=3,sg=0:1.1 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=0,c=0,t=7,pt=0,l=0,sg=0: 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=1,c=0,t=6,pt=0,l=0,sg=0: 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=255,c=3,t=26,pt=1,l=1,sg=0:2 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:SEND 0-0-1-1 s=255,c=3,t=27,pt=1,l=1,sg=0,ft=0,st=ok:1 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=1,c=1,t=0,pt=7,l=5,sg=0:20.0 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=0,c=1,t=1,pt=7,l=5,sg=0:46.7 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:SANCHK:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=1,c=1,t=0,pt=7,l=5,sg=0:19.9 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=0,c=1,t=1,pt=7,l=5,sg=0:46.6 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:SANCHK:OK 0;255;3;0;9;TSP:MSG:READ 1-1-0 s=0,c=1,t=1,pt=7,l=5,sg=0:46.5 The node was switched on all the time. There is a row of "0;255;3;0;9;TSP:SANCHK:OK". Then I switched the node of and on again. Now came other infos and I can see the temperatur and the humidity, but not before I switchesd off and on. Strange. In IObroker there is nothin to be seen. Perhaps I use the wrong (chnages wrong?) sketch. Ha sanybody a sketch for the gateaway that runs better? Thank You in advance

      @stefaanv Hi there, how is your coup going now? I've just pulled down an old kids cubby house at a friend who is moving, and put it back up on our farm. So I'm getting ready to build my auto doors etc.

      Hello Stefaan, Thanks for sharing your nice project ! How is it with the automatic door and your MySensors controller after 2 years ? Do you improved the code in the meanwhile and do you want to share it again ? I made also an automatic (horizontal sliding) door on my coop with a barebone Arduino and a LDR as sensor, but I want the same functionalities like yours, so I ordered today all the extra necessary parts. Kind regards and thanks in advance, Peter.

      @vikasjee it could probably be done with the ESP, or the new GW device for the "masses", that is coming later this year. It is build on a atmel SAMD (same MCU as used on arduino Zero), currently being evaluated by our manufacturing partner in China.
