@fedyn Thx for reporting back. Just in case you expect anyone to help you further with this, it is necessary to post updated code together with more info what is "not working" (here: the switch/lightning part or the DHT). You may also find some more hints in how to combine relay and non-blocking loop() starting here: https://forum.mysensors.org/post/81401 Btw.: you mentionned 2 DHT in the title of your post, but in the code, there's only one.

@mbj No problem! Actually, I've encountered another issue. But I found that that may depend on the bootloader. The first time I "solved" the problem was another board with a generic 328p breadboard bootloader (I apparently didn't pay attention when burning the BL for the various boards) Last week I had a problem with a board with the Gert Sanders 328p bootloader when I couldn't enable the MY_DEBUG. When I changed the board type it compiled, but wouldn't upload because of the differences in baud rate. I will probably have to reflash al boards withe the same bootloader but that means de-solder all radios ... 😣 When I have time again I will investigate further.

@mfalkvidd yes, thank you and everyone - I am all fixed and working now. I am giving 3.3v to the radio with a separate voltage regulator.

@dbagioni please don't post the same question in multiple places. It splits the discussion, which ends up wasting people's time since details that might be important only become available in one of the threads. In case anyone wants to answer @Dbagioni's question, please post your reply in https://forum.mysensors.org/topic/9038/serial-gateway-issues-ubuntu-16 I am closing this thread to prevent further confusion.

If you use that you will need to use the 5V because it has a regulator built in

@mfalkvidd said in Suddenly, the node stopped working.: Many thanks @mfalkvidd! You were right! Something strange happened to Arduino. Moreover, I was able to write down the cleareepromconfig example and clear the memory, but after this procedure I could not write anything into the memory of Arduino. I have little experience with Arduino and this happened to me for the first time.

@cgrf well, thanks for the feedback anyway. As for structure, I do have it in chapters. So the technical stuff is separated from other things, and the whole thing starts with how to actually use it, and the theory goes last for those interested. I could split it into separate pages but I feel that just fragments it. As for the use cases, they are also split and I am not sure how to simplify them further. As for what version they work with, the current setup is that there are always two versions. One for the most current release here: https://www.mysensors.org/apidocs/index.html The other is for the beta releases (development branch), which is always bleeding edge here: https://www.mysensors.org/apidocs-beta/index.html The version is currently to the git sha. But I have a pull request open that will make further releases show a version number instead which better link the documentation to a human readable version. It will also update the security part of the "library customization" chapter a bit.

@ahmedadelhosni Alkaline, cheap "IKEA" batteries.. :) My units reports around 60% battery capacity left (very unscientifically measurements) About operating frequency. If you have a sleeping node, then you won't gain anything from using 1Mhz versus 8Mhz, on the contrary you might end up using more power, when using 1Mhz, than 8Mhz. Because the time that the MCU is awake is longer at 1Mhz, than at 8Mhz. Remember, that when the MCU is sleeping, the power usage is the same, regardless of what frequency the MCU is working at, because the oscillator is shut down. at 8Mhz you would complete your operation quicker, and return to sleep mode again faster, than when running at 1Mhz.

@the-grue do you remember where you found that sketch? The one included in MySensors writes 0xFF. Maybe there is an old version somewhere that we should get rid of.

@marco-realacci also, make sure your gw is configured to use the same secret hmac and AES key as your nodes use.
