    Hi guys,

    I'm new (today!) to MySensors (and a big fan of Domoticz) and had a few problems with this shield, thought I'd share for future n00bz:

    I bought the following stuff to play around with:

    • Arduino Uno Rev3 - ATmega328
    • Arduino Ethernet Shield 2
    • NRF24L01+ 2.4GHz PA LNA wireless transceiver module
    • Some cabling for tying it all together.

    Because I just downloaded the "wrong" IDE from arduino.cc (1.6.7) instead of the "right' IDE from arduino.org (1.7.8) my Ethernet Shield 2 was not supported. That ended up eating most of my time, not knowing that I had this board or knowing that the IDE was wrong and not supporting it.

    After some fiddling around I finally got it working with:

    • Just following the 'normal' wiring-scheme;
    • Not enabling the soft SPI;
    • Including the "Ethernet2.h" instead of the "Ethernet.h"

    Just thought I'd share, because if new people buy an Ethernet Shield, it's problably going to be the "2" if you don't know anything about it like me ;)

    I hope I did it right, my gateway connects to Domoticz after all ...

    On to the next adventure, adding some sensors!

    Kind regards,

    Sander
