I have tried alot of times to build a functioning RFM69HW gateway and failed. Can anyone tell me how to correctly wire a logic level shifter to the rfm radio.

What I have done previously is to connect the arduino side to the HV side and the LV to the RFM69 radio. 3.3v , 5v and two GND from the arduino goes to the 3.3v/5v/GND on the logic level shifter.

3.3v/GND on the radio is connected to a 5v--> 3.3v psu powered from usb.

    Is this correct?

      Hello,

As mentioned on the MySensors page, NSS, MOSI and SCK are not 5v tolerant so you need to connect them to a level converter. Don't connect MISO to the level converter, it's not necessary and not working for me !

      Hope it helps !

      David.
