      On Vera controller the main process is restarted each time you add devices.

      Inclusion mode was added mainly to collect a few presentation-messages before initiating the restarting-of-process-thing.

      It is also good to be able to control when devices is automatically created on the controller side. You might be playing with development of sensors and don't want to actually add them to the controller until you're finished.

        Can you explain how this works ?

        My idea was, when developing a sensor node, to temporary give it a fixed id, and when the sensor is done, let it grab an id automatically.

          @ericvdb

          (Vera guess)

          When given a fixed id enable inclusion mode so the device is found when you want to add it. If you are done you have to clear the eeprom and remove the fixed id from the code, and remove the device from the controller.

          After the above done, enable inclusion mode again and let the auto id assignment do it's work.
