WS2812B LED Strip with Domoticz Selector Switch

I have a MySensor node with a WS2812B LED strip attached. I have (now) four different patterns for the LED strip. From Domoticz I want to select this patterns with a Selector Switch.

See this example Selector Switch:

I’m looking in the Library Examples but I don’t know with which example I can start. Can someone give me the right direction to do this?

I'm using MySensors 2.0

Today I had the same experiance with the ESP8266 gateway. Relay sensor and temp sensor working ok but the binary switch sensor did not work. It was correctly added in Domoticz but no status changes. When searching I found this post and build a quick and dirty USB gateway using an arduino Nano, plugged it in my Raspberry PI that runs Domoticz and bingo, it works ! So thanks for your post. One thing I did see in the telnet session to the ESP gateway, there were long numbers (6 digits I believe) at the end of the message were there should be a 0 or 1, indicating the status of the input. The gateway did not crash. Looks like a bug in the ESP gateway.

I read this post yesterday and today I solved it. My GW was restarting as soon as I was sending a command to a MYS node with dimmer child. I am using nRF PA-LNA, with extra power supply, PA_HIGH. Domoticz 3.8795, MYS 2.1.1. Nano as serial GW. Tried PA_LOW, new nRF but that didn't help. Today I found the solution, I disabled DEBUG in GW and now I can't reproduce any restarts.

Hello @TheoL I am having the same problem with a slightly similar sketch. the delay didn't have much impart. One second its working fine and the next its breaking into errors. I couldn't find a .1uf Capacitor, so I used electrolytic 1uf instead. Worked fine in the Sprinkler Project, but I don't know if that's the problem here. @eme If you are talking on the side of the nRF24 radio module then yes, the 4.7uf or above AFAIK is recommended in here as a minimum. I could see this happening if there were occasional packet collisions with the gateway because the radio cannot refresh fast enough due to of the quick draw of power on the radio.
