Pin-compatible RFM69?

Hi!

Beginner here so please be gentle...

I'm not very comfortable with soldering and try use solderless connections if possible. I'm trying to build a Serial Gateway using these instructions https://www.mysensors.org/build/connect_radio. I'm going to use 433MHz with the RFM69 radio.

However, the RFM69 components I have received don't seem to be compatible with ordinary pin connectors. I assume you need to solder on the antenna and the cables to connect it to the Arduino.?

Is there a RFM69 that you can plug in using ordinary dupont cables? If it also have an antenna already installed that would be even better! If it ALSO have a 5V-to-3.3V Voltage Regulator or is compatible with 5V it would be fantastic!

Is there RFM69 that is pin-compatible? Where can I order them?

I don't really understand much about Arduino or MySensors but isn't this a complete Serial gateway? It seems to be a Arduino + RFM69W + Voltage Regulator + antenna. Isn't ATMega328P the same as a Arduino Nano?

It is not a complete MySensors gateway because it doesn't have the MySensors gateway sketch on it. But the MySensors serial gateway sketch could probably be flashed to this product. There will probably be need for some changes though, to configure which pins are used for what.

The Arduino Nano (and most Pro Minis) are based on the atmega328. Atmega328 is a microcontroller (sort of like a processor in a PC). The rest of the components handle communication and power supply (sort of like the motherboard in a PC).

It's only the physical layout that differs? The pin numbers and such?

Yes physical layout is not the same. See HopeRF documentation for pinout but if I remember it's the same.
