@kunall the best recommendation against openhab for me was ugly interface and problems with running it (java). I was using domoticz since early version with own interface on arduino, now I've switched everything for MySensors. It still lacks some functions but Inwait for further development as even programmers of domoticz start to use MyS hardware :-)

... and also add a decoupling capacitor between radio's VCC and GND pin, in order to smooth the power to radio --- something from 4.7uF to 100uF may be helpful.

I agree, take a look at a better router/firewall. I use pfsense, which can handle any number of WAN connections and run them however you want, failover or load balanced etc. I'd then run a VPN service to allow reconnect. You could use dynamic DNS to allow you to connect to the dynamic one from the Mobile network.

@tomrask when you set the relays to the " last known state" the same value (1) is used for all the relays.

Well, I have had to put the whole MySensors project on ice for a couple of months due to the fact that I am hardly home. Hopefully end of spring I will find some time again...

@Vladut-Grecu said: That remote had a wireless thingy.. W Indeed it was RF based remote control, but it was for X10 protocol and it wasn't compatible with my existing system. There's somewhat painful way to hook x10 to Vera via Raspberry running Mochad driver, but I'm getting rid of x10 altogether.

@box18 It explained on the main site under "Build" section. You need the parts for a serial gateway and motion sensor. If anything is unclear come back here and ask more questions.

I think the comment in the routine void measureBattery() { // R1 = 1MOhm, R2 = 220 kOhm Should be void measureBattery() { // R3 = 1MOhm, R2 = 220 kOhm (R3) Is it possible to add (comment out) some lines how to calculate the battery percentage and send this via gw.sendBatteryLevel (batteryPcnt) Great sketch!

@Tibus I gave you the footprints, for SMD it is equivalent of the wattage) actually only R4 & R5 a sensitive to the footprints. An even more sensitive to a maximum rating voltage than to the wattage. I'm using two 1206 in series to be sure that they will hold up to 400V. I made a check of different brands, usually the maximum rated voltage for 1206 is not bellow 200-300V, that means that in series of equal resistors the maximum rated voltage will be 400-600V all other resistors are under low voltage and very low power dissipation but if you need wattage just for learning curve, usually 0601 is 0.1W, 1206 is 0.25W

false readings from acs712 is a subject of electrical noise I also faced it coper&wires from acs712 to MCU have to be as short as possible
