@NeverDie said in 💬 The Harvester: ultimate power supply for the Raybeacon DK: Edit: This guy found another couple of possibilities as to what the E50D chip might be: https://www.electroschematics.com/pfm-module-circuit-surgery/ I have the same board as this guy. I removed the LED and resistor because they are on the input side, so they are almost useless anyway. For a board such as this, with a promised 0.9v startup voltage on the input side and a promised 5v on the output side, they really should have been attached to the output, not the input, to show roughly when it is that the board is producing useable output. At a 20mv "keep alive" input voltage, the input measures 0.5ma using a uCurrent Gold. That means the keep alive energy is 10 microWatts. Offhand, for the application we've been discussing on this thread, I suspect that number is too high to be practically useful, because at only 20mv input we'd be collecting far less than 0.5ma current from a tiny panel. At least now we know.

Sorry, one more mistake. On the board, the UART port connector rotates on 180 degrees. In this case, UART on the Orange PI Zero and UART on the board should be connected with wires.

@Raj-Kiran you can use any 3mm LED. So the best is to choose the cheapest 3mm you can find on ALIEXPRESS.

@Ikes-72000 If it were me having these problems, I'd simplify the situation by demounting the nRF board fromt he D1 Mini, then I'd power it, hook it up to a console and see whether I'm getting the count that it should be outputting. At that point what you have is simply a breakout board for the nRF, and it doesn't get any simpler than that.

I will prepare a programmatic example of the application of the module, for example, with the Arduino Pro Mini. It will take some time. Thank you for the positive comment of my development.

@magpern said in 💬 MyQTherm - replace IQTherm heating thermostat: I actually am thinking somewhat in the line of discontinuing mysensors network. It is to much, hacks and tricks, and I forget everything in between sessions. I gave up more than once, also over period of years. Recently I came back again and decided to focus on the heart of the issue, getting my radios working and once you get over that, it starts to get fun again. I can respect if you already moved on to something else. I even cheated on MySensors and installed some 433 mhz devices too :D , just to get something working. You have to keep your interest in HA alive in the meantime. But the reward is great when you get MySensors working. There are "easier" solutions like Tasmota, 433mhz, etc. but not as customizable as MySensors. MySensors is for when you outgrow those other solutions and need something more custom.
