    I found problem in my code: my node sends update if only it has value changed, which can take really long. @flopp, "it will start to search for a Parent after 6 failures" - does 6 tries happen automatically or the node need to send something 6 times?

    What I mean is if you have products using 433MHz or 868MHz already, using MySensors gateways with radios using those frequencies will not work, because those devices are not using MySensors protocol. If that's clear for you, then you're fine :)

    Thanks for the reply, @hek. Maybe here we can take things one at a time. For a first step, would building the GWs as MQTT allow connections through a broker such that multiple GWs will work? "Arduino compiler" is bad shortcut name. I meant that there is some transformation arduino does to the code before it reaches the gcc compiler. This is what i want to avoid and have my code work with gcc directly, even if using arduino core/libraries.

    Hi @TheoL how is life and hacking? :) I got reminded on this topic when I saw that Domoticz now officially supports the MySensors MQTT Gateway So I was thinking maybe you have some time and material to contribute to the subject, I see there is a lot of people (me first) not really understanding how they could benefit from MQTT protocol. Since you mentioned the presentation/tutorial last time :) Cheers!

    There is no pairing. You could use deterrent channels or (if security matters) indeed have a look at signing.

    Hmmm.... I guess this topic is kind of dead. I tried to desolder the transiver but failed miserably (to much heat in frustration over that the thing would not come loose). So the PCB lost 2 solderpads. This means I cant go on with this hardware. I might toss the Arduino aswell, its solderd on all pins. Well well... I now have a different problem. =) I now have a Arduino Uno, NRF24L01 and a 1-wire sensor. The new Node seems to be running as it should but it doesnt get any respons from the gateway. The Gateway is talking to my old Node with 3 sensors. A thing that is a bit wierd is that i Updated the GW to version 2.1.0. I thought that I would loose connection with my old Node that I belive is version 1.6 but those are running fine together. The new node is the same version as the gateway.     @antlomb My personal opinion: when inititial euforia about ESP8266 has ended, people started to realize that the chip is actually not that reliable for solid tasks like home automation. Besides, it has huge problems with deep sleep and even if they are fixed, the module reboots on every wake-up consuming a lot on start up

    Thanks guys ! Since i am using Domoticz, i'll stick to unique ID's overall.. That would mean that you cannot use the "auto" setting for ID's if you are using multiple mysensors gateways with Domoticz at all..

    @Yveaux I don't know because the battery was old when I started to use it. Home made pcb. Report every 30 minutes. No cap on battery. Take a look at this graph. This may be a new battery, don't remember. Has been running since 1/4 2016 [image: 1483800257774-img_3616.png]

    @still the compiler will only compile parts that are fit for your hardware and only the parts used will be linked in the final executable.

    No one? First. I don't have any radio interface... Second, micro pro isn't supported So, When I don't have any radio sensors I just want to send local attached sensor data to the controller. Can I configure the library to just send my data? Or can someone describe how much communication are made with the controller. Are there any more messages rather the presentation and actual data that need to be sent? Any "handshake"?
