    Pin 8 on the Module is Ground, and Pin 7 is VCC, these Pins do not get connected to the Mini Pro
    But they come out the side on the angle connector as IO

          Any chance you will be creating a 'panelized' version of this board? With these small sizes 4 boards can be fitted on a 5 by 5cm board, while still keeping the same price. I'd be happy to order a few if that's available!

            I have not, nor do not claim to have designed this module, the module was designed by julisses.
            All credit for this board goes to julisses.
            The only thing i did was to send his .brd file to OSH Park, so there was a local company we could order the board from.
            So if there are any changes required to the board, please contact julisses.

            Sorry if there was a misunderstanding.

              I have uploaded the .brd file to OSH Park pcb manufacturing company.
              you can sign up with them, and search for jModule.
              and order the board for $3.20 for 3 boards
              Hope this helps somebody.

                Am I right in thinking you can use any voltage regulator with this as long as the three pins are correct. Looking at the pinout on the AMS1117 I don't think that tab is an output and not got anything to open the design files with to confirm if its connected to anything. I've got plenty of LE33ACZ which I'm hoping to use.

                        @Qu3Uk I can confirm (from measuring a sample) that the large pad is not connected to anything.

                        However :smirk: it is hard to beat the price of an AMS1117 and the AMS1117 SOT-223 package also has smaller thermal resistance compared to the LE33ACZ TO-92 package (all for what its worth ;-) )

                          I'm just order it, on Dirtyboard not tested yet. Maybe this what you need?

                              Very nice. The only downside I can think of is that AMS1117 is power hungry. Is there a pin compatible regulator with uA level standby current?

                                        I have a couple of those cheap power supplies running some nodes and they tend to give up after some time as well...
                                        If you look after them thats fine... but im not to comfident with those cheap usb power supplies any more.
                                        Just a tip - as I said, have some working fine but be careful.

                                          Do you have a link for the angular pin-header? I noticed after soldering everything and could not get the arduino/jModule together that the angular pinheaders have the plastic in the other way. I tried with a new and just turned the pinheaders in the other way, but then the exposed pins got too short, same result when prying of every pin and turning them around manually.
