I just found this post on the forum: https://forum.mysensors.org/topic/6352/pin-change-interrupt-on-any-pin/11 It adds "_wokeUpByInterrupt = 0xFE; // Dirty hack to get out of MySensors sleep loop" at the end of every ISR and "// Unset value from dirty hack to get out of sleep loop (set in interrupt) _wokeUpByInterrupt = INVALID_INTERRUPT_NUM;" at the beginning of loop. I tried it, not knowing at all what i'm doing by adding these lines. But i do know it works!!! Even if it is a dirty hack, IT WORKS!!!! :raised_hands: :grin: :+1: :ok_hand: :clap: Now i can rewrite my code to do the processing/messaging in loop outside of the ISR. If anyone can explane what these lines do exactly please let me know. It would be even nicer if somewhere in the future there could be a sleep function in the MySensors library that supports these pinchange interrupt vectors, but this hack makes it work for now. @simbarashe Hi, If you'd like someone to answer on this, I think it's good to give a little more background. As you're getting readings it tells me that it's been hooked up, but not if it's hooked up correctly. Please provide some info on how that's done. Images as well as schematics will be helpful. Doing further investigation, still no sucess.... Got the logs from the working node, based on Sensebender and everything seems fine. Changed the radios, still the same problem. Took the basic relay example from my sensors and just added my radio/signing stuff: Still the same problem. The code doesn't even reach setup() function, so it must be something on the MySensors initialization, but if that was the case, why does it work fine with the Sensebender micro? Any idea? I finally solve it ! I forget to add #define MY_RFM69_NEW_DRIVER on the arduino node side ! Now it seems working fine

Hi! Going through examples and forum topics I've noticed that I'm using the wrong S-type and V-type. I'm writing a new version of the code with S_LIGHT and V_LIGHT so there is now dimmer functionality (which I don't need). Let's see if this helps.

First of all. thank you guys for all the help! here is what i found out. When testing my hardware i found that alone with the MySensors Dallas sensors sketch i would get readings from my Dallas sensors in serial and at controller. With relay sketch alone i would get All 4 relays working in controller and in serial. But combined no Dallas temp in serial or controller. I rewired with new sensors, Arduino nano, radio! Finally digging through my stuff i found a new board from a batch ordered 2 years ago, wired it up on bread board and wallah! Apparently the last batch or boards i ordered must have not passed quality or damaged in shipping!! Thanks again for the support!! On a way brighter note I have address's assigned to my temp sensors now on all my nodes and have learned so much more about the MySensors network!

@marsault6 I prepared a pr, referenced from the issue, that fixes the crash at my setup. It's not the optimal solution, but seems to do the trick. If you're handy with installing your own libraries you could give that a try. Update: the fix has now been merged into development: https://github.com/mysensors/MySensors/tree/development

@zerosquared Imo there's not really a problem with the sensor itself but with the transmission towards the GW. 8696 !TSF:MSG:SEND,1-1-0-0,s=0,c=1,t=1,pt=7,l=5,sg=0,ft=3,st=NACK:56.64 The only exception in your log is wrt one temperature reading. So have a look at the troubleshooting guide; especially use a capacitor to enhance power sourcing of the nRF modules.

Maybe its some memory issues, I would try to test the sketch without the display, and remove all display code inclusive removing the declarations #include <Adafruit_GFX.h> #include <Adafruit_SSD1306.h> You have already successfully tested that code with display is working fine, now you need to test the Mysensors code without display code. If this is successfully, I would combine the codes, but remove debug, remove all code for Serial.print, and remove #define MY_DEBUG
