๐ฌ 10+ years wireless PIR Sensor (on just one set of 3 AA's!)

I just now uploaded Version 602, which uses thru-hole battery holders (see BOM) instead of surface mount battery holders. The result is a more compact board and, perhaps, better mechanical strength as well.

Where can I buy the nRF52832 with the correct footprint for your board?
-
Is the AM612 a complete PIR sensor? Ie, generates a HIGH without any additional circuit (except the 4 resistors)?
Edit: Never mind - found your other thread.

I just now uploaded version 603, which includes a 32.678KHz crystal oscillator.
-
I just now uploaded version 604, which uses an LDO better suited to meet the current requirements of the BT832X, in case that is installed. I have shipped the files to the fab, so I'll post an update after I've received and tested the board.
I expect that upgrading to use the nRF52840, when it becomes available, will be a simple drop-in replacement upgrade.
-
I've just now uploaded a demo sketch whereby the PIR reports its voltage as a heartbeat once every 5 minutes. However, if motion is detected, it's immediately reported wirelessly.
-
Because this is a compact design, the battery clips may touch. So, to prevent any short-circuiting, you may wish to use a bit of Kapton tape, or similar insulating tape (maybe even electrical tape) on the outside of the inside clips to prevent contact with the outer clips):

Project completed. I've just now uploaded the files for version 607. I've tested this board, and it works.

@neverdie
Hi, it is not clear from the message, if a movement occurs, will the battery data transmission interval be saved?
-
@berkseo Good question. The code seemed good at the time I wrote it, but I can't say that it was extensively tested. I may circle back to it at a future date, and if so, I'll take a closer look. Even with more than 500 downloads of the code, no one has posted any feedback on how well (or not) it has run. Also, I not sure how compatible the posted code is with newer releases of the mysensors library.
