Of course it is not shaking the wall, but vibrations can be detected quite far away

@korttoma I set up a pir node with promini and nrf24l01+ about 6 weeks ago running on 2xAAA batterues. No false triggers yet and it detects many movements each day. Battery level is still 100% (3V) so it is possible to do this. Maybe something else is affecting your previous test, like situation, distance or interfereing signals? But you have another solution that mighte well be useful to someone else with the issues you faced. Good of you to share it.

Thanks for you answer @scalz but changing from 2 to 3 will not help me because the Wiegand library uses both 2 and 3 interrupt pins and I don't think it can be changed either. Seems like my only remaining solution for this node is to use a gateway without radio attached or an MCU with more then 2 interrupt pins available.

@chrille the fact that it works for nrf24, but not for rfm69 seems very strange as there are no indication-related calls in either radio code. The gw_rx and gw_rx indications are generated for valid message exchange on the gateway interface (Ethernet, serial, mqtt), while regular TX and rx indications are for valid message exchange by the connected radio (nrf24, rfm69).

@tbowmo I will be the first in line to get the GW. I found and old discussion about this same issue here Witch lead me to this GitHub Library But I was unable to get it to work using this also (I just don't know what I'm doing poking around inside Libraries changing files).

Hi @Cameron-Payne I'm not sure how to replace the relay in a safe way but maybe an optocoupler could do the trick if you can find one that can handle 230VAC.

@Yveaux said: there should be some OKI tiles somewhere, or maybe some blobs of resin somewhere on the back? I dug a bit further and under some green tape I found something: So I guess these might be the LCD controllers then. Anyway, if someone feels like sinking their teeths in one of these let me know.
