Inventory webpage

I have a lot of components and other electronic stuff, in boxes.
Now I want to structure a little bit so I don'r order something that I already have.
Anyone using some kind of system for this?
I want it to be online, not in my house. It can be a webpage that I put on a web hotel like one.com. If there is an iPhone app that's perfect.

I have a page on my Wordpress-powered blog where I list everything I have bought. A simple solution, so I'd be interested in a solution to this as well.

I found something and have started to use it, http://www.thecanvus.com/, not exacly what I was looking for but it will work i think.

https://partkeepr.org/ could be an anternative. Haven't tried it yet though.

and you can link it with an Arduino + some addressable leds + (why not? ) my sensors, and do something like this...

Haha that's gorgeous ! But not ideal for real inventory of parts I guess, if you need 30s discussion with Google each time you take one or more part, it will take forever to take parts for a complex board

I tried this one: https://github.com/replaysMike/Binner
Close to what I want, but I couldn't get the digikey and mouser downloads to work. That would have made it really useful.
Both digikey and mouser have ways to save BOMs, but it is tied to their web site of course.

@Nca78 Agree. But I liked the idea of a simple text search, where you enter for example 'MOSFET' and it lights up all bins with mosfets ... It is now in my list 'projects to investigate after finishing all ongoing'
